"The Board of Directors’ main objective is to direct the development of the Academy’s policies and programs jointly with the school’s Headmaster. There are 13 members of the Board, and we are parents of children studying in DA. This is voluntary work that we do to enhance our school. We are here to work on improving the school’s facilities like the new library and auditorium, upgrade equipment in the classrooms, implement new courses and to provide students, teachers and school administrative personnel with the right tools to enjoy the time when you are in school. We do all this voluntary work because we want all the students to gain an excellent education, learn values and, most importantly, have fun in Dorado Academy."

The Board of Trustees shall direct the development of the Academy's policies and programs. The Board of Trustees shall have the power to administer the school, propose and approve budgets and other finance matters.


The Board of Trustees shall have the power to administer the school, propose and approve budgets and other finance matters. In particular, the Board of Trustees is responsible for establishing and adopting the following matters: Educational and Academic Policies Long-range planning and development Approved budgets and financing Public relations and Publicity Recruiting an admissions policies Securing financial support other matters as referred or suggested by the Principal of the Academy

 In particular, the Board of Trustees is responsible for establishing and adopting the following matters:

  • Approved Budgets and Financing

  • Public Relations and Publicity

  • Recruiting and Admissions Policies

  • Securing Financial Support

  • Other matters as referred or suggested by the Headmaster of the Academy.

At least once each year, the Principal of the Academy will submit recommendations on the above items to the Trustees for consideration.
